Real Friends Forever over 55 and over 60 selections, friendlies are over and the season has begun! We won the first game against some exceptional competition but dropped the second narrowly.
It’s a bittersweet post unfortunately. June 1st I start peritoneal dialysis and will never be able to play again. This day was always coming but it’s still hard to comprehend - I’m grateful for the life saving care I’ve received and this is another miracle that will keep me alive - but it’s going to be hard to let go of something I’ve been doing for so long that has brought such joy and friendship to my life.
