You will remember that each year Deerfield students apply for funds from the Charles Piper Cost '83 Award. Two young women from China won the award last year and made their presentation to the school yesterday. They are focused on educational opportunities in their hometown and aren't content to stop at just one summer. Helen (below) led the presentation and had this to say after her presentation: "
Thanks again, and please kindly include my most sincere thankfulness for the Cost family and your entire class. May and I will continue work on Face to Face to make it a life-long business, but not just a summer project."
