You may have noticed on my facebook page that I was in Chicago on Wednesday. While on the train from the city to Winnetka for the Deerfield reception, I noticed a Deerfield Academy facebook post that Pocumtuck Valley Radio was broadcasting the DA vs Choate baseball game. I immediately tuned in and listening to the student play by play and the birds in the trees behind him, and then got nostalgic about the boys in '82 and '83 that created WGAJ 30+ years ago.
Beaubien was the mad engineer, Suher was the advertising machine and there were many more...
History does repeat itself, even with new circumstances and students.
